Your child will transition to our Toddler room once they are steady on their feet. During this stage of your child’s development, they will become very curious about socialising and seeking out other children to play and engage with. We, at Little Miracles, give them the opportunity to form attachments by putting emphasis on group activities, circle time where the children share stories and develop language skills supporting their social interactions. Our dedicated practitioners will engage the children in valuable learning experiences through play, such as tabletop activities, puzzles and arts and crafts. Free play is promoted throughout the day, as well as great focus being put on the child’s likes and interests.
The Toddler room has access to its own sleep room and nappy changing room, making nap time and changing time run more smoothly. There is a child size toilet and sink for the children who are moving towards being toilet trained. If your child is showing signs of being ready to use the toilet, we will work with you to support the process and assist them in their next stage of development. Every day is an adventure in the toddler room, lots of energy and fun filled laughter, so much learning and lifelong skills being supported in a wonderful learning environment.
